WE HAVE STREAMLINED SYSTEM SIX’S CUSTOMER JOURNEY, BRANDED THE INNOVATION CENTRE EXETER, CREATED INTERNAL COMMS FOR CORUS AND DEVELOPED SOFTWARE FOR THE NHS.
The NHS Fetal Anomaly Screening Programme has the remit to implement the policy of the Department of Health to offer Down’s syndrome and fetal anomaly screening to all pregnant women in England.
We have been commissioned by the screening programme to develop a Risk Management software package which will take the form of a working internet based computer application as well as a DVD.
The software package when used by the appropriate health professionals, should demonstrate that suitable and sufficient risk assessment has been successfully completed. Utilisation of this software by those same health professionals could be used to demonstrate effectively to both the users of the screening programme and other associated stakeholders that the screening process is as safe as can be reasonably and practicably achieved.
From the beginning of the project, the key considerations for us were:
-Ensuring the best end user experience -Guaranteeing that the health professionals understood the purpose of the software and were able to use it efficiently -Demonstrating the importance of understanding the whole pathway for efficient risk management
